Toronto Police Service

Project: Research & Report to TPS Board
  • Responsible for auditing a $2M operational process used by police members for cleaning of uniforms.
  • Carefully scrutinized current operations and uncovered large gaps and flagged systemic issues within the department and material risk to the organization.
  • Gathered valuable feedback by administering survey to 6,200 police members and used feedback to support the recommendations.
  • Recommendations ensured removal of operational bottlenecks, reduced admin costs, and time and cost estimation for implementation of each recommendation.

City of Toronto (Elections)

Project:  Online Polling
  • Revitalized the City's polling process by creating a technology solution focused on accessible citywide polling and increased participation rates of Toronto residents.
  • Led design team to implement a new City of Toronto polling application; time to initiate poll reduced by 85%; voter participation increased 15% in 3 months; launched community engagement website.
  • Eliminated processing errors by integrating 4 data sources into a single in-house application, utilizing complex geo-spatial technology to automate the polling process.

Bank of Montreal

Project:  Change Manager for Anti-Money Laundering and Fraud systems
  • Aligned the Harris Bank Transaction Monitoring (TM) business users to BMO Canada TM technologies and processes.
  • Reported directly to the Chief Anti Money Laundering Officer (CAMLO) providing control assessments, AML policy and procedure updates, presenting decks to ensure program alignment to AML regulations.
  • Led with business and technical representatives to elicit requirements for a Disaster Recovery (DR) Solution for the BMO US AML Transaction Monitoring (TM) System.
  • Gathered AML and Fraud requirements for transitioning Citi-Diners MasterCard customer portfolio (400,000 customers) to 3rd party operated Credit Card processing platform ‘TSYS'.
